Our founder, M.L. "Butch" Pike III, began The Elite Lamp Company in 1963, with one objective in mind: 

to offer the widest selection of lighting and decorative accessories in proven styles and at popular price points that serve the independent retailer's needs for quality and value.

That mission remains unchanged.

Today, the Pike family continues to own and operate Vintage Verandah with the same principles set forth by our family founder.  Our dedication to the independent retailer is shared by all of our employees in our corporate offices in Marion, Arkansas, and is supported by a national sales force and a coast-to-coast network of showrooms.
